A daycare built for every child and their family.
La Marelle is a small, mixed-age group, which allows closer attention to each child. Everyone enjoys a warm atmosphere where three languages blend naturally.

Life at La Marelle

Discover La Marelle
La Marelle is designed as a space where children have the opportunity to discover and feel the world around them.
We start from each child's individual interests, enjoying every day in a playful way through creative activities and themed projects. Our team fosters an environment suited to free play, symbolic play, and musical and artistic activities that develop children's motor skills, activities they choose freely, according to their own wishes. Through interaction with our professionals and other children, they learn to interact with one another, building their personal and collective identity.
We use Montessori pedagogy to introduce activities and habits that help children develop their autonomy. Through practical-life presentations, children learn to take care of themselves and of the environment they are in. They also develop their motor skills and a respect for nature and the world around them.
Active learning
Children learn by doing. We explore, touch and experiment: in three languages.
Natural trilingualism
Each educator speaks their native language. Trilingualism develops effortlessly through daily immersion.
Always outside
2 picnics a week: Parc de la Ciutadella, Estació del Nord park. Plus many weekly outings: urban garden, library, market. Barcelona as playground.
The settling-in period
When a child starts at La Marelle, we plan a settling-in period, for them and for their family. It is adjusted to the child's age and to their emotional response, as well as their family's. We are always in contact with families on WhatsApp, and even more so during the settling-in period.
