Flexible hours
You can enrol your child at La Marelle from 3 mornings up to 5 full days. From 9:00 to 13:00, or until 15:00 or 17:00.

Outside, every day
Picnics on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Parc de la Ciutadella and Estació del Nord park. Plus outings to the market, museums, urban garden, library. The neighbourhood as a classroom.
Ultra-small group
A maximum of 20 families per year. 1 educator for 5 children max. Every child is known, recognised and individually supported.
Workshops every week
Music, dance, cooking, art therapy, yoga, psychomotricity, Montessori. A rich programme that awakens every sense.
Local, home-style cooking
All meals prepared by Obrador La Nena. Fresh produce, balanced menu, supervised by a dietitian.
Daily communication
Photos and videos sent every day on WhatsApp. Alex, the director, in constant contact with every family.

Alex created La Marelle for her daughter.
In 2012, Alexandra was looking for the ideal daycare for her daughter in Barcelona. She couldn't find it. So she created it. A daycare where children really go outside, every day. Where the groups are so small that you know the name, character, fears and joys of every child.
14 years later, La Marelle welcomes families from around the world. The spirit hasn't changed: a daycare made with heart.
